We are proud to inform you that our laboratories AGROLAB Dr. Verwey B.V. and AGROLAB LUFA GmbH both participated successfully in the EURL-PC PT 2024-18.
The European Union Reference Laboratory (EURL) for Processing Contaminants organised together with the Danish National Food Institute (DTU food) an interlaboratory comparative test. Both our MOSH/MOAH laboratories in Barendrecht (NL) and Kiel (D) participated successfully.
The aim was the correct determination of mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOSH/MOAH) in a solvent.
For total MOSH and total MOAH 23 laboratories reported results. 22 of them obtained results with a satisfactory z-score (96%). Only one laboratory failed in MOSH and another one in the MOAH exercise, which is overall a positive result. AGROLAB Dr. Verwey achieved z-scores of -1.2 and -0.4, AGROLAB LUFA had z-scores of -0,1 and 0,4 – which was even the best result at all for MOSHtotal. So, both AGROLAB labs passed the ring test with excellent results (i.e. z-scores between -2 and +2 and approved their competence in MOSH/MOAH analysis once again.
YOUR PLUS: You can count on our outstanding performance in the analysis of process-related contaminants such as mineral oils in food and feed.
